Is everyone ready for a poetry reading?
In May, join the local poetry community for the annual Mothers and Others themed open mic.
Sunday May 26, 2024
Sign-up sheet out at 2:30 / Mic on at 3:00 p.m.
Maria Reyes Jones Gallery
134 Riberia Street, St. Augustine, Florida 32084
Share your polished poems or bust out fresh ink from your notebook during St. Augustine’s longest-running open mic poetry event. Invite a friend or two or three. Ancient City Poets has always been open to the public and there is no charge at the door to get your name on the list.
Let’s all pitch in for this one, Maria and Sam said they would put on the coffee pot. Maybe someone would like to make or buy some cookies or sweet treats.
If you would like to share a poem, please see facilitator Michael Henry Lee at 2:30 PM to get your name on the list on the day of the event. There is space on the list for 15 poets at 5 minutes each. At 3 PM, the readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the sign-up sheet.
