LARRY BAKER BOOK EVENT TONIGHT
I have been a fan of author Larry Baker when he released his 2009 title "The Good Man".
Tonight Larry will be in St. Augustine at the Waterworks to celebrate his new novel, "Harry and Sue." Larry (pictured below, next to Shari Little) asked me to read the Harry Chapin part. Shari is taking the Marilyn Monroe lines, and Flagler College teacher Bruce Flickinger as Mark Twain and actress Heather Eggleston as Karen Carpenter.
It’s a free event, but you need to call for a seat. 904–827–6940. The Waterworks is located at 184 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, Florida 32084. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show time is at 7:00 p.m. Parking is in the same lot at the Downtown St. Augustine Branch of the public library. This event is made possible from support by the Friends of the St. John's Public Library, and the St. Johns Cultural Council.
Parking Info: Access the building through the Main Branch Library parking lot, then follow the brick path for additional parking in the back. While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only. Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Augustine Main Library parking lot. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon in your GPS.)
